It was such a joy to visit with the Hayward family two weeks ago. (Two weeks already?!) Their 22-month old son Jacob got along perfectly with Joshua and David. Jacob is quite physically coordinated and strong for his age, so he was able to do a lot of the same things as our boys despite being several months younger than David. He was such a laidback, mellow, adaptable kid, just right for the unpredictable life of a missionary family. He was quiet but impressively articulate when he did speak, observed his new surroundings intently, and smiled often.
